For pools with special shapes, such as rectangular pools with rounded corners or uniquely shaped pools, and for oval pools, it is necessary to install a winding device with travel. All metal parts are made of type 316L stainless steel, which offers maximum resistance to corrosion caused by salt or chlorine. It is powered by a low voltage 24V motor that features integrated end stops for reliable operation. The control unit is usually located in the pool’s utility room and the entire system can be easily controlled using a louvered controller or remote control. For maximum convenience, we also offer a battery-powered version that does not need a power cord and requires charging only once every two months, with a charging time of approximately one hour.
This device allows for convenient winding and unwinding of the slat overlay and is implemented in the widest point of the pool. During swimming, the entire system is moved away from the pool so as not to interfere with your swimming enjoyment.
The winding system is installed on low aluminum rails that allow it to move on the pool surface, or it can move without these rails on level ground.
Many pools are equipped with a special pool curbstones that is installed around the entire perimeter of the pool. This trim is designed to elegantly cover any unevenness in the walls, while ensuring that the edges remain perfectly straight and visually appealing. The pool trims are precisely manufactured with a width 20 to 30 mm smaller than the opening through which they are lowered to the surface. Thanks to this design solution, the part where the slat enters the water is often cut out of the coping, allowing the slat to cover the water surface as much as possible and ensuring the perfect appearance and functionality of the pool.
